Diversity & Inclusion Program for Professionals

Welcome to the Diversity & Inclusion Program for Professionals at Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Nederland (TSYN). We are deeply committed to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion within our organization. Our program aims to address disparities that have historically limited access to Trauma-Informed/Trauma-Sensitive Yoga interventions for diverse social groups.

Our vision is to create broader possibilities by inviting individuals from underrepresented communities to join our foundational TCTSY training. We are actively working to expand and share this training with underserved populations.

For each of our online foundational training sessions, we have reserved three spots specifically for applicants from minority groups. If you qualify, your participation in the 20-hour foundational TCTSY training will be provided free of cost (training value only).

To apply for the 20-hour Foundational training, please indicate your eligibility by selecting one or more of the options below:

❏ Hold cultural identities/intersections that are underrepresented in working Trauma-Informed.

❏ Indigenous People

❏ People of Color or Visual Minority

❏ Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual

❏ Older Adults: 60+

❏ Individuals with Physical Disabilities

❏ Reside in an identified high-poverty area

If you belong to one of the minority groups listed above, we encourage you to include a personal motivation when applying. Please send your application to esther@traumasensitiveyoganederland.com.

Esther van der Sande will contact candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for a brief 20-minute Zoom interview.

We are looking forward to welcoming you and sharing the transformative Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Foundational training with you.

Best wishes,

Esther & Team Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Nederland
