Trauma Sensitive Yoga Classes

Trauma Sensitive Yoga is a very effective adjunctive, and complimentary treatment for those suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), complex, or developmental trauma.

It provides a safe place where people can begin to connect with their bodies, and their breath, in relation to the trauma. Over time clients learn to be present and create rhythms, and they begin to experience the effects of taking positive action, and making choices.

No previous yoga experience is necessary, sessions can last from 15 minutes to an hour, and are available on the following basis.

Individual one on one sessions

Designed specifically for those already in therapy, or be in close contact with your doctor (GP), or health care professional.

Group classes

Several 10 week programs are held in Haarlem / Amsterdam each year,  although spaces are limited and programs are often booked out.

The current program ends in December 2017, with the next program starting early 2018.  Please stay tuned for dates, or contact to register your interest.

 No previous yoga experience is necessary.
